Responsible Gaming

Version: 1.0  |  Last Updated: 30 July 2026

At MidasLuck, we believe that gambling should always be a fun, controlled, and entertaining activity. We are fully committed to maintaining a safe gaming environment and providing our Players with the tools, information, and support they need to gamble responsibly. This Responsible Gaming Policy forms an integral part of our overall framework and should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Our Commitment

1.1. A Safe Gaming Environment

MidasLuck is dedicated to promoting responsible gambling practices at every level of our operations. We recognise that a small proportion of people who gamble may develop problematic gambling behaviour, and we take our responsibilities in this area extremely seriously. Our commitment includes:

  • Providing accessible and effective player protection tools;
  • Enforcing strict age verification to prevent underage gambling;
  • Training our staff to recognise and respond to signs of problem gambling;
  • Refusing service to individuals who are self-excluded or voluntarily restricted;
  • Promoting awareness of problem gambling resources and support organisations;
  • Never targeting vulnerable individuals with marketing materials.

1.2. Responsible Gambling Principles

We encourage all Players to approach gambling with the following principles in mind: set a budget before you play and stick to it; treat gambling as entertainment, not as a source of income; take regular breaks from playing; never chase losses; and never gamble under the influence of substances or when feeling emotionally distressed.

2. Recognising Problem Gambling

2.1. Warning Signs

Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or financial situation. It is important to recognise the warning signs early. Ask yourself the following questions honestly:

  1. Do you spend more time or money gambling than you originally intended?
  2. Do you find yourself thinking about gambling constantly or planning your next session when you are doing something else?
  3. Do you feel an urge to increase your stakes or bet amounts in order to achieve the same level of excitement?
  4. Have you tried to cut back or stop gambling but found yourself unable to do so?
  5. Do you feel irritable, anxious, or restless when you try to reduce or stop gambling?
  6. Do you gamble to escape from problems, stress, anxiety, depression, or other negative feelings?
  7. Do you find yourself chasing losses — continuing to gamble after losing in an attempt to win back what you have lost?
  8. Have you lied to family members, friends, or colleagues about the amount of time or money you spend gambling?
  9. Has gambling caused or contributed to financial difficulties, including borrowing money or failing to pay bills?
  10. Has gambling negatively affected your personal relationships, work performance, or mental and physical health?

If you answered yes to two or more of the above questions, we encourage you to take action. Reach out to our Support Team at [email protected] or contact one of the organisations listed in Section 6 of this Policy.

3. Player Protection Tools

3.1. Deposit Limits

Players may set limits on the amount they can deposit within a defined time period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once a deposit limit is set, it takes effect immediately. Requests to increase a deposit limit are subject to a 7-day cooling-off period before the higher limit is applied. Requests to decrease a deposit limit take effect immediately. To set or modify deposit limits, go to Account Settings > Responsible Gaming, or contact our Support Team.

3.2. Loss Limits

Players may set a maximum amount they are willing to lose within a defined period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once a loss limit is reached, no further gameplay will be permitted until the limit period resets. As with deposit limits, reductions take effect immediately while increases are subject to a 7-day delay.

3.3. Wager / Bet Limits

Players may set a cap on the maximum amount they are permitted to wager on any single bet or spin. This tool is particularly useful for managing the pace of play and preventing impulsive high-value bets.

3.4. Session Time Limits

Players can define the maximum duration of any single gaming session. Once the session time limit is reached, the Player will be automatically logged out. A notification will be displayed shortly before the session limit is reached, giving the Player an opportunity to save their progress or finish their current game round.

3.5. Reality Checks

Players may activate periodic on-screen reminders that display how long they have been playing and the net outcome of their session (net wins or losses). These reminders appear at intervals chosen by the Player (e.g., every 30 or 60 minutes) and give the Player the option to continue or end their session.

3.6. Cooling-Off Period

A cooling-off period allows a Player to take a short break from the Platform without permanently closing their account. Players may apply for a cooling-off period of:

  • 24 hours;
  • 7 days;
  • 30 days;
  • 90 days.

During a cooling-off period, the Player will be unable to log in, deposit, or place any bets. No marketing communications will be sent during this period. The cooling-off takes effect immediately upon request.

3.7. Self-Exclusion

For Players who feel that they need a longer or permanent break from gambling, the Platform offers a self-exclusion facility. Self-exclusion options include:

  • Temporary Self-Exclusion: For a defined minimum period of 6 months;
  • Indefinite Self-Exclusion: With no predetermined end date, reviewable after a minimum of 5 years at the Player’s request.

Self-exclusion takes effect immediately upon request. During any self-exclusion period, the Player’s account will be suspended, all marketing communications will be stopped, and reactivation will only be possible after the minimum period has elapsed and a formal request has been submitted and reviewed. To request self-exclusion, please contact us at [email protected] with the subject line “Self-Exclusion Request”.

Important: Players who have opted for self-exclusion must not attempt to open a new account on the Platform. Any account created in violation of a self-exclusion will be immediately closed and any associated funds held pending review.

4. Tips for Responsible Gambling

4.1. Practical Guidance

We recommend that all Players follow these practical guidelines to ensure their gambling remains a positive experience:

  • Set a budget before you start and only gamble with money you can afford to lose;
  • Do not chase losses — accept that losing is part of gambling and walk away when your budget is depleted;
  • Take regular breaks and do not allow sessions to go on for excessively long periods;
  • Keep gambling in perspective — it is a form of entertainment, not a way to make money;
  • Do not gamble under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or strong emotions such as anger or grief;
  • Balance gambling with other leisure activities and social commitments;
  • Never borrow money to fund gambling activities;
  • Use the tools available to you, including deposit limits, time reminders, and self-exclusion;
  • Seek help early if you feel your gambling is becoming difficult to control.

5. Protection of Minors

5.1. Minimum Age Policy

The Platform is strictly prohibited to individuals under 21 years of age. This minimum age applies to all registration, deposits, gameplay, and withdrawal activities. Age verification is conducted as part of our mandatory KYC process, and no withdrawal will be processed before age verification is complete.

5.2. Parental Controls

If you share a device with minors or are concerned about a young person accessing gambling websites, we strongly recommend using parental control software to restrict access to gambling content. The following tools may assist:

You should also ensure that you log out of your MidasLuck account when you are not using it and never share your login credentials with anyone, including family members.

5.3. Reporting Underage Gambling

If you suspect that a minor has accessed or used this Platform, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate the matter promptly and take appropriate action, including account closure and fund return where applicable.
